Pennington named to Zweig Group's 2021 ElevateHER Cohort

For over four years, Caitlin Pennington has served Garver as a corporate recruiter, helping the firm find and attract the industry’s best talent. Now, having been named to the 2021 ElevateHER Cohort, she’ll get to use her insight and expertise to help further Zweig Group’s mission of uplifting the industry.

Founded in 2020, the ElevateHER program is focused on promoting diversity and solving the recruiting and retention challenges that the AEC industry faces. Composed of AEC professionals across the country, the group will meet throughout 2021 to discuss and implement strategies to combat these recruitment challenges, starting with a two-day virtual kick off session in March.

“I’m looking forward to working with others in our industry to specifically focus on diversity, recruitment and retention issues that we’re facing,” Pennington shared on the upcoming events. “I’m also excited to build on the ideas of the first ElevateHER class and continue the foundation for future classes.”

The program will culminate with a virtual symposium in October 2021 where cohort members will present their ideas and strategies to promote equal opportunities for everyone in the industry.
