Daniels accepted into prestigious Leadership Colorado program
Aviation Project Manager Roy Daniels, PE, has been selected for the competitive Leadership Colorado program. This statewide leadership initiative, known for developing and connecting professionals committed to strengthening Colorado’s future, recognizes individuals who demonstrate exceptional expertise, vision, and community impact. Daniels’ acceptance highlights not only his technical skill, but also his leadership within Colorado’s aviation sector.

With extensive experience designing and overseeing construction operations for airport pavement and roadway improvements, Daniels has played an important role in delivering some of the region’s most complex aviation projects. His project portfolio spans runways, taxiways, and aprons; airport driveways, fuel farms, pedestrian facilities; and roadway improvements and expansions.
These projects include extensions, widening, overlays, full-depth reclamation, reconstruction, and rehabilitation and demonstrate Daniels' deep understanding of both airfield and roadway infrastructure.
His technical expertise includes working with concrete and asphalt pavements, FAA and UFC pavement marking standards, FAARFIELD, and AviPLAN Turn.
Daniels is also well-versed in applying project manuals and standards from FAA Advisory Circulars, CDOT, ODOT, TxDOT, the DEN DSMs, and local government design guidelines — ensuring that every project meets the highest safety and regulatory benchmarks.
Daniels' leadership is evident not only in his technical capabilities but also in his ability to guide aviation projects from concept to completion while prioritizing safety, efficiency, and stakeholder collaboration.
This commitment to operational excellence has helped deliver long-term value to airports across the region, improving mobility, safety, and efficiency for travelers and aviation partners.
