Garver climbs ENR's list of top airport consultants
Garver’s Aviation Team began by serving one client on a parking lot expansion, but over the last six decades it’s established itself as one of the top aviation teams in the country, a claim backed by the Engineering News-Record.
ENR named Garver No. 19 on the magazine’s latest list of top aviation firms across the country. It is Garver’s highest showing on the annual list, which tracks revenue earned from airport projects over the previous year.
“Our commitment to pairing the best people with the best clients has made our Aviation Team what it is today,” said Garver Aviation Director Mike Griffin. “And with more personnel than ever before, we’re able to accommodate the current needs of all airports, no matter the size or classification, with future possibilities in mind.”
Garver’s Aviation Team includes more than 90 aviation-specific personnel based in offices across the country, each working to increase the efficiency of airports with designs for improved runways, taxiways, electrical systems, landside facilities, and long-term planning efforts.
Successful high-profile projects in 2018 included a four-phased taxiway rehabilitation at Dallas Love Field, airside civil design for the Kansas City International Airport’s new terminal facility, and a runway reconstruction design at Nashville International Airport, among others.
ENR also named Garver among the top 30 overall design firms in its five-state Texas & Louisiana region that includes work in Arkansas, Louisiana, Mississippi, Oklahoma, and Texas.
