Garver named a Zweig “Best Firm to Work For” 11 years in a row
Garver has once again been recognized as the #1 Best Firm to Work For by the Zweig Group. This is the fourth consecutive year Garver has ranked #1 and the 11th consecutive year that the firm has ranked in the top three.
The list, which ranks the nation’s outstanding workplaces in the AEC industry throughout the United States and Canada, is compiled based on statistics and employee opinion on firm culture, workplace practice, employee benefits, employee retention rates, professional development, and more.
“At Garver, we strive to offer our employees the best employee experience – from health benefits to professional development,” said President and CEO Brock Hoskins. “It's rewarding that our people feel valued and cared for and enjoy connecting across our footprint. Our people truly are our greatest asset, and the Best Firms To Work For Award is confirmation that they know it’s true.”
Aspiring to rank at the top of this list has become a part of Garver's culture, something embraced by its employees and marked by office-specific celebrations over the past decade.
Garver has experienced exponential growth in the past year, thanks to employee referrals and new talent excited to bring Garver services to their communities. This organic expansion has led to new offices and new markets in North Carolina, Florida, and Georgia. It has also propelled Garver past the 1,200 full-time employee milestone. The firm attributes this robust growth, in part, to its people-first approach.
Garver prioritizes providing employees with a competitive benefits package that offers 401(k) matching, paid parental leave, health care coverage with dental benefits, HSA funding, and other health care savings. Garver employees also benefit from an in-house Wellness Team and on-site fitness centers, reimbursement for gym fees and other health-related services, a flexible work schedule, and leadership dedicated to providing professional development resources.
