Roberson selected for Leadership Arkansas Class XX

Garver Principal Accounting Officer and Controller Beverly Roberson has been selected for the 2025-2026 Leadership Arkansas program. An annual, nine-month program led by the Arkansas State Chamber and Associated Industries of Arkansas, Leadership Arkansas brings together leaders in diverse industries from across the state, building a network of accomplished and talented individuals dedicated to improving Arkansas.

A native Arkansan and leader within Garver for many years, Roberson understands how her job supporting the financial health and growth of Garver’s engineering and construction services contributes directly to Arkansas infrastructure - the roads, airports, and water systems that connect and sustain the state’s communities.

“I’m passionate about investing in the communities where we live and work, especially through instilling an early interest in STEM in our youth, and I actively seek ways to connect students locally and across our state with opportunities in engineering, finance, and technology.”

“Beyond the numbers, I see my role as a bridge between business and community,” she said. “I’m passionate about investing in the communities where we live and work, especially through instilling an early interest in STEM in our youth, and I actively seek ways to connect students locally and across our state with opportunities in engineering, finance, and technology.”

Roberson inspires the next generation of Arkansans through mentorship, volunteering, and outreach. She is an active AR Kids Read tutor for students at Crystal Hill Elementary School and a Girls of Promise Group Leader for the Women’s Foundation of Arkansas, connecting girls in the state with women in STEM fields.

Her work has earned previous recognition: in 2024 she was named a Spark! Star by the Museum of Discovery in Little Rock for her dedication to advancing STEM learning. In 2023, she was named to the Arkansas Money & Politics Power Women of the year list for her “admirable devotion to empowering the next generation through both professional initiatives and community service.”

In her 26 years of experience at Garver, Roberson has led the transformation of Garver’s corporate finance operations, modernizing internal controls, streamlining audit and tax processes, and strengthening banking relationships. She has successfully aligned financial operations with organizational goals, empowered teams, and driven sustainable value. She brings her expertise and commitment to education and workforce development to the Leadership Arkansas program, through which she hopes “to broaden [her] impact, connect with fellow leaders, and contribute to the continued progress of our state through collaboration, service, and shared vision.”

In being selected for Leadership Arkansas, Roberson joins a distinguished group of statewide professionals and a number of fellow Garver employees who have graduated from the program in years past, including Director of Enterprise Solutions Jerry Holder, Chief Communications Officer Laura Nick, Municipal Practice Leader Ron Petrie, Director of Innovation and Business Support Keith Tencleve, Bridge Practice Leader Lawren Wilcox, Aviation Operations Manager Adam White, South Central Region Director John Cantabery, and Public Relations Team Leader Anita Smith.
