Kenzie Allison named to Arkansas Business 20 in Their Twenties

At just 27 years old, Kenzie Allison, PE, is already making waves in the water industry as a Process Mechanical Team Leader — and now, she’s being recognized for it. Arkansas Business recently named Allison to its prestigious 20 in Their Twenties list where she joins peers from across the state who are considered to be rising stars in their respective industries.
Allison’s work is rooted in purpose — delivering safe, reliable water to communities across Northwest Arkansas and beyond. With a lifelong love of math and science and a deep connection to her home state, she found her calling in civil engineering early on. Today, she leads with both technical expertise and a community-first mindset, helping local utilities bring vital infrastructure projects to life.
In just six years in the water industry, Allison has already helped her clients save more than $150 million, funds that can now be reinvested into other critical infrastructure needs. Her resume includes major projects like the Northwest Arkansas Conservation Authority’s Wastewater Treatment Plant expansion and improvements to the Springdale Wastewater Treatment Facility, where she contributed to everything from clarifier design to construction sequencing and cost estimating.
Allison’s impact reaches beyond her work life. She’s a passionate advocate for professional development and communication, founding a Toastmasters Club at Garver’s Fayetteville Water Design Center to help engineers sharpen their public speaking skills — an often overlooked but essential part of the profession.
Allison is also deeply committed to inspiring the next generation of engineers. Through Garver’s STEM outreach program, she regularly speaks to students at the University of Arkansas, her alma mater, and represents Garver at career fairs to encourage students to pursue engineering and help address the national shortage of engineering graduates.
"Though in the early stages of her career, Kenzie has already made a meaningful difference in Arkansas through her contributions as a water engineer and her commitment to serving the community," said Process Mechanical Manager Rusty Tate. "She represents the spirit of giving back, and Arkansas is stronger because of her efforts."
