Crawford named to AMP Achievers in Their Forties list

Arkansas Money & Politics has named Garver Strategic Growth Director for Transportation and Field Services Josh Crawford, PE, to its 2026 Achievers in Their Forties list, recognizing professionals who are making a significant impact across Arkansas through their leadership, service, and career accomplishments.

For more than 20 years, Crawford has helped shape critical infrastructure in Arkansas and across the country, building a career defined by technical excellence, leadership, and a commitment to strengthening communities. Since joining Garver, he has served in a variety of roles ranging from Project Engineer to Director, steadily expanding his influence within the firm and the engineering profession.

A native Arkansan and University of Arkansas graduate, Crawford has played a key role in advancing aviation infrastructure throughout the state. He has designed and managed improvements at more than 27 Arkansas airports, including Northwest Arkansas National Airport, Clinton National Airport, North Little Rock Municipal Airport, Springdale Municipal Airport, and the new Conway airport.

His impact, however, extends well beyond Arkansas. Throughout his career, Crawford has overseen horizontal and vertical infrastructure projects at more than 60 airports nationwide and 10 military installations. Notable projects include campus-wide improvements at Austin-Bergstrom International Airport and San Antonio International Airport, where he managed projects supporting more than $1.1 billion in construction costs, as well as the Fort Campbell Rotary Wing Hangar project for the 160th Special Operations Battalion.

In addition to leading major infrastructure projects, Crawford has helped drive strategic growth for Garver. During an 11-year period in Texas, he led efforts to establish Garver's Austin and Round Rock offices, expanding the firm's presence in Central Texas. His industry expertise also earned appointments to Texas' Urban Air Mobility Advisory Committee and the board of directors for Workforce Solutions Capital Area, where he helped guide initiatives related to transportation innovation and workforce development.

Now based in Rogers, Arkansas, Crawford serves as Strategic Growth Director for Garver's Transportation and Field Services, helping position teams and clients for continued success while supporting the firm's long-term growth strategy.

His leadership and contributions have earned recognition throughout his career. Crawford was recently inducted into the Arkansas Academy of Civil Engineering and was named to Airport Business magazine's Top 40 Under 40 list in 2018. He is also a member of Garver's owners' group, which recognizes employees who demonstrate exceptional commitment to the firm's people, clients, and mission.
