AUS Consolidated Maintenance Facility

Increasing operations support

Garver provided civil, electrical, interior design, and interior/exterior wayfinding for the design of this project, which included development of a 17-acre site on airport property, to construct a consolidated maintenance facility (CMF). The facility provides maintenance support to the main airport daily operations and the site is the focus for airport’s maintenance operations. Buildings on this CMF campus include maintenance operations, motor pool, warehouse, recycling, truck wash, garages, several canopies, and the Austin Police Department. A separate deicing materials storage building will be located within the airport operations area and connected to the main facility via a new road, also designed by Garver. This project incorporated sustainable design and LEED requirements per City resolutions.
