Garver provided survey coordination, design, grant administration, bidding, construction phase, and materials testing services for the rehabilitation of all lights associated with Runway 18-36. The project included replacement of existing incandescent stake-mounted runway edge lights with LED MIRLs, replacement of existing direct buried runway lighting circuit with a can and conduit system, replacement of existing incandescent PAPIs with four-box LED PAPIs, replacement of existing runway signs with new LED signs, construction of a new electrical vault and home run, replacement of existing beacon with a high-intensity beacon, which included coordinating the removal of the existing beacon tower, and a new AWOS-3 facility. Garver worked with the FAA, OAC, and local officials to acquire funding for the much-needed improvements, which reduced construction costs and limited impact to airport operations.
