Renovating a historic structure
Garver served as the prime designer of record for this design-build project that remodeled and renovated more than 13,000 square feet of Building 134, a historic, three-story structure that is more than 100 years old and is protected by the Texas Historical Commission. Garver’s diverse team provided design project management, quality control, architectural, civil, structural, mechanical, plumping, electrical, and fire protection design; and construction administration services. Design was performed to be LEED Silver certifiable and to allow fast-track construction of certain aspects of the remodel work.
