New ARFF Facility
Garver provided multidisciplined design services for a new LEED Gold certified fire station and air operations, training, and administration facility. The 9,900-square-feet facility serves as a round-the-clock workplace and home for a rotating crew, features a three-bay, 5,500-square-feet building for firefighting vehicles and equipment, as well as a 4,400-square feet residential and office wing. Two 8,000-feet by 150-feet runways, parallel connector taxiways, and a parking apron for an adjacent airfield received full-depth concrete replacement or partial-depth repairs, new airfield pavement markings, and airfield lighting updates. The completed design-build project offers sustainable facilities and improved airfield functions to support training and operations for the new T-6A Texan II training mission aircraft.
Our team is as multi-disciplined as they come. We provide civil, structural, mechanical, electrical, plumbing, fire protection, and architectural design for a wide variety of project types and clients.John Watkins Garver Director of Facilities Design
