Functionality and sustainability
Garver teamed with GSB, Inc. for the design of a new 82,000 square feet National Guard administration and training facility for the Oklahoma Military Department. Garver provided MEP engineering design for the project. The high-performance building design featured energy efficient systems with 30% energy savings over the baseline energy code. The sustainable building and site achieved LEED Gold Certification. The project received the Design-Build Institute of America (DBIA) National Award of Merit.
