A single-lane roundabout replaced a previous four-way stop to help traffic flow smoothly through an area that includes a newly-constructed elementary school. After analyzing existing conditions and movement counts, a Garver-led traffic study recommended the roundabout. Garver’s design included a right-turn bypass lane, pedestrian accommodations, and a rerouted drainage ditch to help minimize costs and impact to residents during construction for a project that helped improve accessibility to a newly developed area.
