An outdated interstate interchange had become overrun by congestion, causing unsafe driving conditions near Little Rock, Arkansas. Garver was selected to provide design services to expand, upgrade, and reconfigure the I-40 and I-430 interchange, which included a replaced overpass and widening of both interstates from four to six lanes. The design included roadway, bridges, box culverts, sign structures, retaining walls, and right-of-way for a project that improved one of the busiest routes in the middle of the state’s largest metropolitan area.
