To improve access to a planned shopping center, Garver provided planning, design, and other services for two new roadway and bridge projects. Design included widening one two-lane road along with an exit ramp, interchange modifications, a boulevard section that includes bicycle and pedestrian paths, an interstate overpass, and a roundabout that helps traffic flow smoothly through the new development. Adding difficulty to the design was its proximity to other commercial buildings and a federally funded park. But Garver completed design in 12 months to meet the accelerated schedule the city needed to provide access to a new amenity.
