Parker Road Extension

Contracted to design the extension of a two-lane road that provides access to a nearby interstate, Garver first conducted a study that resulted in further improvements. Garver first evaluated the impact of extending Parker Road to relieve congestion, which resulted in short- and mid-range solutions. The short-range solutions included signal coordination, restriping a westbound approach lane, and converting one intersection to an all-way stop. Mid-range solutions included an additional turn lane and roundabout traffic signals. Garver provided roadway design, survey, right-of-way plans, and environmental studies for the improvements.
