Shillcott Bayou Pedestrian Bridge

Enhanced Amenities

Garver’s design of a new pedestrian bridge has amplified a popular city park with improved recreational features. When the previous bridge fell into disrepair, city officials elected for a new bridge rather than rehabilitating the existing one. Garver provided surveying and planning as well as construction observation and geotechnical engineering services. Garver also developed a construction plan that relocated a 48-inch drainage culvert that kept the path open for area cyclists, joggers, and walkers during construction.
