Challenging terrain in western Oklahoma and a limited budget had stalled the Oklahoma Department of Transportation’s efforts to improve U.S. 412. But once the project was altered from reconstruction to resurfacing, restoration, and rehabilitation, Garver helped bring it to modern-day safety standards while keeping it under budget. While accelerating the project time as well as save money, Garver's plan provided travelers with a safe and efficient roadway.
