SummitLIVE! broadcasts to Garver offices across the country
Each year, Garver Summit is held to celebrate what the firm has accomplished over the previous year and to lay out its plans for the future.
Typically, the event includes employees from across the country gathering in one location for meetings, professional development sessions, team-building activities, and the presentation of company awards. The event was held virtually for the first time this year, with Garver SummitLIVE! broadcasting from Oklahoma City, Oklahoma to nearly 800 Garver employees watching from offices across the country.
This year’s event was just as successful as in years past. President and CEO Brock Hoskins and Chief Operating Officer Michael Graves provided updates on company progress, the Garvy Awards recognized the most accomplished employees and impactful projects, and the announcement of Spirit of Garver Award winners highlighted the employees who exhibit a passion for their profession and a dedication for upholding Garver’s values.
Hoskins and Graves noted Garver’s rise to No. 122 on the Engineering News-Record’s Top 500 Design Firms list, being named ENR Texas & Louisiana 2020 Design Firm of the Year and a Platinum Well Workplace by the Wellness Council of America, another top finish on Zweig Group’s Best Firms to Work For list, and much more.
The last year was marked by continued growth, too, with the opening of offices in Lincoln, Nebraska; Rogers, Arkansas; and Gulfport, Mississippi. Today, nearly 800 employees across the United States work to provide innovative infrastructure designs for aviation, construction, facilities design, federal, survey, transportation, and water projects.
