Three individuals honored with prestigious Spirit of Garver Award for outstanding contributions and excellence
The Spirit of Garver Award, given annually, honors employees who demonstrate exceptional passion for their profession and unwavering dedication to upholding Garver’s values and standards. It is the highest individual accolade a Garver employee can receive.
Garver honors these standouts at Summit, an annual gathering of employees from across the country. This year, at Summit 2024 in Arlington, Texas, a committee of company leaders named Senior Office Support Administrator Alyssa Albarran, Structural Project Engineer Maddie Cameron, and Transportation Project Engineer Eric Mutabazi, PE, the latest winners. Each received a travel voucher worth $3,500, company recognition, and the privilege of wearing the signature Spirt of Garver award blazer.
As the Senior Office Support Administrator in Garver’s Round Rock, Texas, office, Albarran handles a wide range of duties, including onboarding new hires, event planning, scheduling meetings, printing and binding deliverables, updating database records, and assisting the Finance team. Beyond these responsibilities, she fosters a positive and productive work environment that inspires her colleagues. Albarran’s natural leadership qualities and commitment to training and mentoring have significantly enhanced her team’s performance and culture. Based in San Antonio, Maddie Cameron is a structural project engineer on Garver’s Buildings Team, responsible for structural analysis and design on residential, commercial, and federal projects. Her commitment to Launch, Garver’s intern program, has significantly enhanced Garver’s recruitment and retention efforts. Cameron’s technical insight and willingness to implement changes have strengthened the intern experience, making her an integral part of the Launch Committee, and positioned Garver favorably among prospective employees.
Based in Overland Park, Kansas, Eric Mutabazi is a project engineer on Garver’s Transportation Team, specializing in municipal roadway and drainage, bridge replacement, interchange, and ADA safety improvements.
