Garver Launch interns gather for Ignite 2026

One of the hallmarks of Garver’s award-winning culture is its internship program, Garver Launch. This summer, over 100 interns have joined Garver to gain hands-on, career-building experience across the company.

First-year interns recently gathered in Bentonville, Arkansas, for Ignite — Garver Launch’s annual two-day orientation event. Ignite introduces interns to Garver’s culture, diverse business lines, and the AEC industry through a dynamic mix of interactive sessions, site visits, and networking opportunities.

“We see our interns as future leaders in the AEC industry,” said Transportation Project Engineer Michelle Breithaupt, PE, a member of the Garver Launch Steering Committee. “Garver Launch gives them the tools, connections, and confidence to start building that future now.”

This year’s Ignite event featured a variety of sessions designed to immerse interns in Garver’s legacy and future. A highlight was a leadership panel featuring former Garver interns President and CEO Brock Hoskins, Transportation Strategic Growth Director Josh Crawford, and Director of Innovation and Business Support Keith Tencleve. Interns had the opportunity to engage directly with Garver leaders while gaining insight into the company’s history, vision, and signature projects.

Additional programming included a Consulting 101 session and social activities such as Topgolf and a yoga session led by Wellness Program Manager Whitney Ayers — offering interns a well-rounded introduction to both Garver’s work and culture.

Chief Communications Officer Laura Nick led “Recruit Me If You Can Challenge,” an event where leaders from across Garver competed to pitch their teams and attract interns for shadowing opportunities, giving participants a fun, engaging look at the company’s diverse career paths.

Garver’s continued investment in Garver Launch reflects a broader commitment to shaping the future of the AEC industry. Through hands-on experience, mentorship, and meaningful connections, these emerging professionals are gaining the tools and perspective needed to become tomorrow’s industry leaders.
