Brent Millar joins Garver as Central Texas Construction Services Team Leader

Backed by more than two decades experience, Millar will expand on Garver's growing CM&I services in the Lone Star State.

With the addition of Brent Millar, CCM, as Central Texas Construction Services Team Leader in San Antonio, Garver is further expanding its construction management and inspection services across Texas. In his role, Millar will provide expert CM&I services to a variety of clients across Texas, and there’s no one better suited for the job.

Millar’s diverse portfolio includes extensive experience with water and wastewater and municipal projects as well as road and bridge projects. He has executed construction projects with a standard delivery method but also various delivery methods like design-build, CMAR, and CSP. He also comes with previous experience as a contractor — with over a decade as a project manager — and as an owner’s rep, which provides him with the unique perspective of understanding all sides of bringing critical infrastructure projects to the finish line.

“I see my job as a way to give back to my community and state, and with Garver’s resources, I’ll be to take that to the next level."

“I see my job as a way to give back to my community and state, and with Garver’s resources, I’ll be to take that to the next level,” said Millar. “It’s an added bonus that my values align with Garver’s and that they offer an award-winning culture that’s known across the industry."

A lifelong San Antonio resident, Millar has spent 22 years providing CM&I services across the city and region. He’s connected to the community in a myriad of ways, professionally and personally. In addition to having attended high school in the city and the University of Texas at San Antonio, he has recently served as vice president, president and past president of the Construction Management Association of America, South Texas Chapter.

“Brent is a great fit for this role and for Garver. He shares our firm’s values when it comes to the most efficient ways to deliver CM&I services to municipalities and water and wastewater clients. That means integrity and expertise,” said Director of Operations – Texas Construction Services Dakota Zimmerman, PE. “He knows and understands the region and is well-positioned to serve our clients.”
