Garver up to No. 146 in ENR's Top 500 Design Firms list
Throughout 2017, Garver continued its focus of providing a variety of services while strategically expanding into new and thriving markets, measures that were reflected in the Engineering News-Record’s latest ranking of Top 500 design firms. Garver is No. 146 this year, its highest showing and an improvement of 20 spots from last year on the prestigious list compiled by ENR based on revenue for design services completed in 2017.
“Garver’s jump in this year’s ENR rankings can be attributed to the offices we’ve added or expanded over the past year, or the new services we’re now able to offer clients,” said President and CEO Dan Williams. “But the driving force of any growth we’ve experienced over the last year – or the 98 years that came before it – is good employees who have a passion for seeking opportunities and taking care of our clients.”
Garver’s 2017 was highlighted in part by further expansion, including the acquisition of Wichita, Kansas-based engineering and design firm Ruggles & Bohm, and the opening of a San Antonio, Texas office, among others in the state. Garver now boasts 500 employees providing aviation, construction, facilities design, federal, power, transportation, survey and water services from 24 offices in 10 states.
