Garver’s Water and Wastewater Team is set to attend the Underground Construction Technology Conference & Exhibition, one of the country’s premier events focusing on the total underground utility pipeline infrastructure sector, held this week in Fort Worth, Texas.

Infrastructure Practice Leader Jeff Maier, PE | Advancements in SIPP Lining: A Look at Current and Emerging Spray Applied Pipe Rehabilitation Technologies | 11-11:25 a.m., Jan. 25

In this session, Jeff will provide an overview of currently available technologies, emerging trends and state-of-the-art developments for Spray In-Place Pipe polymeric lining applications. Additionally, the U.S. Department of Energy’s groundbreaking ARPA-E REPAIR research and development program that focuses on rapid trenchless rehabilitation of existing in-service gas pipelines will be introduced and discussed.

Planning and Modeling Team Leader Evan Tromble, Ph.D., PE | Hidden Capacity in Your Wastewater Interceptors? How Non-Uniform Flow Modeling Can Impact Pipe Sizing | 10:30-10:55 a.m., Jan. 26

In this session, attendees will gain an improved understanding of gravity flow hydraulics, hydraulic capacity evaluations, and outputs from hydraulic models. Attendees will be able to apply the concepts to their system and be better prepared for future capacity evaluations, either conducting them or analyzing results presented by others.
