Garver is leading the design for reconstruction of Nashville International Airport’s Runway 2R-20L, its most heavily-used runway. The project also includes the supporting parallel taxiway, Taxiway Hotel, and all connector taxiways. The design incorporates the latest FAA design standards and reconfigures the connector taxiway locations for achieving the lowest Runway Occupancy Time (ROT). The project will replace all of the runway and taxiway edge lighting, in-pavement lighting for centerlines and touchdown zones, runway guard lights, and elevated signage. The electrical design is being completed in concert with an ongoing replacement of the east side electrical vault, also designed by Garver.
