Enhancing passenger experience
As the Brownsville South Padre Island International Airport’s on-call engineer, Garver provided construction management services for the new terminal, aircraft apron expansion, loop road, and parking. The new facility will be home to a new Federal Inspection Services (FIS) facility and U.S. Customs and Border Protection (CBP) offices for the City of Brownsville. The new two-story, 90,000 square-foot terminal will utilize the latest features of current terminal design. Garver worked with the City and airport staff to develop a transition plan to keep operational impacts to a minimum.
