The North Little Rock Municipal Airport’s airfield lighting replacement project provided 58% energy savings, which led to significant savings in operational and maintenance costs. The first phase of the multiyear project provided upgraded lighting to Runway 5-23, which required Garver’s Construction Services Team to work with the contractor to have it completed in 12 days, quicker than the 14-day maximum. The project provided an upgraded lighting system for an airport that was the first in Arkansas to have LED taxiway light fixtures.
