Garver developed plans and specifications to construct an open-bay hangar with an attached 8,000-square-feet, two-story facility for offices and shops to serve as the primary fixed base of operation for the William R. Pogue Municipal Airport in Sand Springs, Oklahoma. The facility also includes employee and tenant parking, a passenger drop-off area, and a covered and contained parking area for two 10,000-gallon fuel tanks and two 3,000-gallon mobile refuelers. The facility provides jet fuel for small- and medium-sized planes, along with storage, maintenance, and management services. Garver provided structural, mechanical, electrical, and fire protection design, along with stormwater detention, domestic water service, and sanitary sewer collection and treatment systems.
