Enhancing athletic achievements
Garver provided surveying, design, and construction phase services to replace the synthetic turf football field and surrounding track at Sylvan Hills High School in Sherwood, Arkansas. The team performed topographic surveys of the existing field, locating the perimeter wall, fences, face of bleachers, and surrounding support facilities; locating all existing improvements inside the track, including scoreboard, clocks, flag pole, goal posts, runways, and high jump pad; locating existing drainage inlets, tops, invert, pipe sizes, materials, and routing with discharge inverts; locating all communications, electrical, and irrigation utilities entering and within the field. In addition, Garver coordinated the design with school and City of Sherwood representatives and provided a stormwater pollution prevention plan for the project in coordination with the Arkansas Department of Environmental Quality.
