Efficient and secure facilities
Garver provided site, civil, and grading design as well as subject matter expertise for a new 37,233-gross-square-feet combined support maintenance shop (CSMS) that will provide a surface vehicle maintenance and training facility for the Hawai’i Army National Guard on the Keaukaha Military Reservation near Hilo, Hawai’i. Garver’s civil and site design covered more than eight acres of land and includes all site demolition, grading, utility infrastructure parking, access roads, sidewalks, security fencing and gates, storm drainage, and stormwater management measures. The facility was designed to be LEED Silver certified and complies with Anti-Terrorism/Force Protection (AT/FP) standoff distance requirements.
