Increasing our reach, while maintaining our traditions

Since its inception, Garver’s Facilities Design Team has been built on providing solutions to federal agencies in design-build projects, like the award-winning canine training facility at Lackland Air Force Base in San Antonio, Texas. Those will always be our backbone; however, thanks to the reputation developed by those projects, new and exciting possibilities have been created.

In recent years, we have expanded geographically while also diversifying our work, leading to projects unlike any we have previously delivered and in new locations. For one example, highlighted in this issue is the newly-added commissioning services, which can reduce energy consumption and cost while providing building owners with a streamlined process of meeting expectations.

Currently, our team is taking on projects with higher education institutions, and the U.S. Department of Homeland Security Immigration and Customs Enforcement, designing facilities for the departments of transportation in Mississippi and Texas, and a new prison facility in Houston, Texas.

Reinventing our vision has put us in new markets, too, with ongoing projects in Honduras and Puerto Rico. That expanded reach is proof that, while remembering what got us to this point, we’re always looking toward what’s next.
