Conroe Central WWTP Construction Management

Evaluating best value options to support rapid growth

Garver provided value engineering and construction support services for the planning and programming of a new 6 MGD wastewater treatment plant for the City of Conroe, Texas. During construction bidding, Garver worked with the Conroe staff to evaluate the best-value bids for the project. The project included construction of the WWTP, which allows for a peak flow of 24 MGD by accepting flows from a diversion structure at the existing WWTP. Construction consisted of site clearing and grading, a new influent lift station, headworks, aeration basins, clarifiers, filters, disinfection, sludge processing, and appurtenances. Garver also established and utilized project management information systems (PMIS) to establish a document control structure and facilities correspondence of submittal reviews, RFIs, and other processes as needed to support the project.
