Garver provided engineering and construction support services for planning, program, and value engineering of the City of Conroe, Texas' new 6 MGD WWTP. During design, Garver acted as a third-party reviewer on behalf of the City to review the plans and provide value engineering ahead of final construction plans and specifications.
The value engineering phase resulted in 30 different value engineering recommendations that amounted to over $14 million in savings on a $67 million plant, bringing the design back down to the City’s budget. Our services included a thorough operability review led by Garver’s own Class A licensed wastewater operator.
