Garver welcomes Jones as new North Texas Construction Team Leader

Garver’s Field Services Team continues to grow in Texas with the addition of Chris Jones, PE, CCM, CDT, as North Texas Construction Team Leader. Jones brings 29 years of Texas-specific experience in the engineering and construction management industry to the role, including 14 years of experience leading a construction management team in North Texas.
Based in Garver’s Fort Worth office, Jones will support and strengthen Garver’s construction management and construction inspection services while working with cities, counties, and water authorities in a region stretching as far west as El Paso and as far east as Tyler, Texas.
“Chris has a wide range of experience in the industry. He’s been a design engineer, project manager, construction manager, and group manager overseeing 85 construction managers and inspectors. His expertise and understanding of Texas will only enhance the high level of client service we provide,” said Garver Field Services Texas Director Dakota Zimmerman, PE.
Jones has provided services on a wide array of projects, including water and wastewater treatment plants and reclamation plants, roadway and bridge, pipeline, elevated and ground water storage tanks, pump stations, and municipal recreation park projects.
He has performed design and construction for lift stations and force mains, drainage system improvements, and wastewater systems. He has successfully served as on-site construction manager for a wastewater treatment plant expansions and provided construction management services for water system improvements, treatment plant expansions, and more.
A lifelong Texan who holds a civil engineering degree from Texas Tech University, Jones will primarily focus on expanding the capabilities and services of Garver’s Field Services Team to municipal, county, and utility clients in North Texas.
“I couldn’t be more excited about joining Garver and its rapidly growing Field Services Team,” Jones said. “For the entirety of my career I’ve been focused on the infrastructure projects that help communities in my home state grow, and I know I'll be able to continue to do that with Garver.”
