Martin named to AMP's Future 50 list
Garver Arkansas Water Team Leader Jerry Martin, PE, plays a significant role in delivering innovative water and wastewater solutions that help Arkansas communities grow. His decade-long commitment to his home state has earned him a spot on Arkansas Money & Politics’ Future 50 list.
The list identifies the up-and-comers in Arkansas business, policy, and culture who have shown the potential to drive progress across the state.
I’m honored to be included with this group of accomplished leaders from across the state. I look forward to continue making a positive impact on those I share Arkansas communities with, and giving back to a state that has given me so much.

Arkansas Water Team Leader
Growing up in Van Buren, Arkansas, Martin developed a passion early on for the environment and conservation. He volunteered with organizations that exposed him to the critical role water plays in the day-to-day lives of people and began his professional career by enlisting in the U.S. Navy. After being introduced to water quality and treatment, he shifted his career to water resources and environmental engineering. In 2011, Jerry joined Garver where he quickly climbed the ranks and now leads Garver’s Arkansas Water Team, which is made up of an array of water and wastewater professionals who work with municipalities across the state.
“I’m honored to be included with this group of accomplished leaders from across the state,” Martin said. “I look forward to continue making a positive impact on those I share Arkansas communities with, and giving back to a state that has given me so much.”
Committed to supporting his industry both in and outside of the office, Martin serves several industry organizations, including the University of Arkansas for Medical Sciences College of Public Health Advisory Board. He’s also vice president of the Arkansas Water Environment Association, has recently been named to the elite Arkansas 5S Society, and is an active member of the Water Environment Federation, the American Society of Civil Engineers, the American Water Works Association, and many more.
“Jerry started his career at Garver as an intern more than 10 years ago, and since that time his focus has never wavered — meeting the long-term needs of communities and being our clients’ most trusted advisor,” said Director of Water Services Jeff Sober.
