Tencleve selected to Northwest Arkansas Business Journal's Forty Under 40 list

Director of AssetMax Keith Tencleve, PE, has served Garver for more than a decade with not only his technical expertise but also an eye for recognizing how to match clients with the best strategies to meet their future goals. For his impact on both the company and the Northwest Arkansas region, Tencleve was recently selected to Northwest Arkansas Business Journal’s Forty under 40 list.

Tencleve, who holds three degrees from the University of Arkansas, has continually impacted his home state since joining Garver in 2005. First, he helped expand Garver’s Aviation Team throughout the region as an Aviation Team Leader, delivering airfield improvement projects to the Northwest Arkansas National Airport, Rogers Municipal Airport, and others. Then, he was selected as Garver’s first director of AssetMax, which delivers pavement management strategies to clients across the country.

“One of the things I’ve learned about leadership is that you’re going to be wrong, and there’s going to be times when you have to say you’re sorry,” Tencleve said during a virtual event recognizing the selections. “But you also have to know what you believe and be willing to say that and make hard decisions.”

AssetMax has steadily grown under Tencleve’s leadership. By using data analytics and the latest technologies to analyze more than 40,000 acres of pavement across the country, the team provides businesses a proactive approach tailored to their strategies and budgets.

In addition to his work, Tencleve serves as a mentor to Garver’s young professionals as a regular presenter for Garver U, the firm’s professional development program. Outside of the office, Tencleve helps pave the way for students considering STEM careers. He was heavily involved in the Garver Chain Reaction Challenge, a year-long celebration of the firm’s centennial that involved the donation of STEM kits and funds to students across the country. He also serves on the Fayetteville Parks & Recreation Advisory Board and previously served on the Fayetteville Town & Gown Advisory committee.
