Garver is serving as the civil engineer of record for the design and construction of a six-gate expansion to Concourse D at Nashville International Airport. Design includes all civil aspects of the project including airfield and landside pavements, site grading, site utilities, erosion control, airside lighting, airfield pavement markings, and perimeter security. The project will also include the demolition and relocation of several existing pieces of airport infrastructure.
The Progressive Design-Build project entails multiple construction packages to accommodate an aggressive delivery date for the Metropolitan Nashville Airport Authority, including, improvements needed to relocate existing airport tenants and critical facilities from the project site prior to the start of demolition, all airfield civil improvements as well as the building foundations and shell, and landside civil improvements and utilities along with interior architecture.
