As the lead design firm for the civil airside components of the new Kansas City International Airport terminal, Garver was responsible for the design of the new apron, pavement system, glycol collection system, airfield drainage system, hydrant fueling system, airside utilities, ground service equipment staging areas, glycol storage and distribution facilities, centralized deicing pads, and glycol detention basing improvements. To help deliver the largest infrastructure project in the city's history, Garver also led the development of the Construction Safety and Phasing Plans and the Obstruction Evaluation and Airport Airspace Analysis for the entire terminal development program.
