Garver provided design services to implement a high-speed roundabout at the three-way intersection of SR-7 and SR 9W, a critical throughline for those traveling to and from the state’s capital in Jackson and the growing college town of Oxford, Mississippi.

Garver provided design services to AHTD to improve the interchange, replace the Norman Road Overpass, and widen interstates 40 and 430 from four to six lanes within the vicinity of the interchange.

To accommodate up to 55,000 daily motorists on Highway 286 near I-40 in Conway, Garver created what is believed to be the first back-to-back, triple-lane roundabouts in the United States.

The four-lane controlled access interstate stretches through DeSoto and Marshall counties making it easier for trucking traffic to avoid congestion in downtown Memphis, Tennessee by looping around the city’s east side.

Future Highway 412 Bypass

To join the Garver-designed, north/south Interstate 49, the area now has a facility to welcome east/west travel in the Future 412 Bypass. The four-mile, four-lane controlled access facility north of Springdale, Arkansas connects State Highway 112 to the west and Interstate 49 to the east, and was designed for expansion to accommodate future growth.
